Our charitable purpose is: "The advancement of the arts for the public in general, especially those in West Yorkshire, in particular the practice and performance of Playback Theatre. Playback Theatre is a form of participatory improvisational theatre which brings personal stories to life through immediate ‘playback’ using drama, singing, story-telling and music."
Our charity also provides education by helping people to learn Playback Theatre skills, and is committed to social inclusion by providing support and removing barriers so that diverse people can come together, share stories, hear and respect each other, enjoy performances and volunteer.
If you would like to be involved or support our work in some way, get in touch at threadbeartheatre@gmail.com
